Pastor’s Weekly Message: 2/27/2025
Hey All
Transfiguration Sunday is upon us this coming Sunday, a day to celebrate the radiant moment when Christ revealed His divine glory, reminding us that He is both law and gospel—fulfilling righteousness while extending grace. This moment on the mountaintop is a glimpse of who Jesus truly is, both the fulfillment of what has been and the promise of what is to come. As we prepare to leave that mountaintop and step into the season ahead, we are reminded that faith is a journey, one that leads us deeper into the mystery of Christ’s love and purpose.
Next Wednesday at noon, we will gather at Westview for our Ash Wednesday service, marking the beginning of our LENT journey—one of Learning, Engagement, Nurture, and Transformation. Throughout this season, we will meet each Wednesday at noon for five Lenten services, each followed by a simple meal of soup as we share in reflection and renewal together. This season calls us into deeper awareness, inviting us to walk with intention, to embrace both challenge and grace, and to prepare our hearts for what Easter will reveal.
I invite you to be part of this sacred journey, to commit to the rhythm of Lent as a time of growth and discovery. Together, let us lean into the work of faith, trusting that through it, we will be shaped by the Spirit, drawn ever closer to the truth of Christ’s love, and made ready for the joy of resurrection ahead.
Peace,
Pastor Marty
