Pastor’s Weekly Message: 1/30/25

Dear Westview Church,

Thank you to everyone who participated in our annual meeting this past week. Your presence, engagement, and insights reflect the commitment we share to the work of this congregation. It is inspiring to see the energy and care that goes into shaping our mission and ministry together. These conversations and decisions are more than administrative tasks; they are part of our calling to reflect Christ’s light in the world.

As we continue in this Epiphany season, we are reminded of the call to forgiveness—a theme we’ve been exploring in Bible study and in our podcast series, On Forgiveness. This journey invites us to reflect deeply on what it means to forgive others, to seek forgiveness ourselves, and to embrace the freedom that forgiveness brings. It is a challenging but life-giving practice, and I encourage you to join us as we explore it more fully in the weeks ahead. Whether through conversation, study, or quiet reflection, I pray you find new ways to grow in understanding and grace.

May God’s blessings rest on each of you as you celebrate the light that shines in the darkness, a light the darkness cannot overcome. Let this light guide our steps, fill our hearts with hope, and lead us ever closer to the peace Christ offers. Thank you for being part of this journey of faith as we walk together in love and service.

In Christ,

Pastor Marty
